Client / Therapist Expectations:

Privacy and confidentiality
will be maintained at all times.

Treatments are customized to
your needs, and may include combinations of traditional Swedish massage,
deep-tissue massage, trigger-point therapy, myofascial release or other
techniques. Prior to your treatment, please let me know of any
problem areas you wish me to focus on, any areas you don't want touched,
or any other questions or concerns you may have regarding your session.

Your massage session will take
place in a private room, decorated to enhance your relaxation by creating
an atmosphere of calm and quiet serenity. We will usually have soft
music playing, and will speak, if necessary, in low, quiet tones.
However, PLEASE feel free to speak up during the session if any aspect of
the treatment makes you uncomfortable, if the pressure is too firm (or not
firm enough), if you have any questions or think of anything you may have
forgotten prior to the session which might enhance your experience.

We recommend that you avoid
scheduling a massage too soon after a meal, and encourage you to drink
plenty of water afterwards. (Massage therapy releases toxins from
your muscle tissue, drinking lots of water helps flush them out of your
system.) Prior to your session you may wish to visit the restroom to
avoid any "full bladder" discomfort during your massage.

In preparation for your
session you will be asked to "undress to your comfort level".
Undressing completely is generally recommended, but some clients prefer to
keep their underpants on - your comfort and sensitivities are totally
respected. During the session, you will be draped with sheets and/or
towels, uncovering only the area being massaged. Genitals are never
exposed or touched.

Important prohibitions:
We employ only therapeutic, non-sexual massage techniques. No sexual
contact of any kind will be permitted. Sexual harassment will not be
tolerated - if your therapist feels her/his safety is in question the session will be
terminated and full payment due. We retain the right to refuse to
work with anyone who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or
drugs.

Massage therapy sessions are by appointment only.
Treatments are typically 60 or 90 minutes long, according to your
needs/preferences and available time slots. (30-minute sessions are
very limited in terms of what we can accomplish, and are generally not
recommended, but if that's what works for you, feel free to

If you will be late, or need to cancel an appointment,
please let us know as early as possible. We understand how
unanticipated circumstances sometimes interfere with our plans (it happens
to us too), and generally will not penalize you, as long as you make a
reasonable effort to inform us. Likewise, we will notify you if
surprise scheduling changes occur on our end.

Therapy sessions will take place at our facility in midtown
Omaha. We do not offer out-calls.

LMT's are bound by the
ABMP
code of ethical behavior.

We will only perform services
for which we am qualified. Requests which are outside the scope of our
practice, or which your therapist feels are not in your best interest, will be referred
to specialists qualified in those areas.

Personal and professional boundaries
will be respected at all times.
